We invite dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacy professionals to consider an exciting remote opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician. Join our esteemed team within a virtual contact center where your contributions will be pivotal in addressing pharmacy-related inquiries from both members and providers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of benefit and coverage determinations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician, Your Primary Duties Will Include

  • Managing prior authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers through various channels such as fax, email, phone, and electronic systems.
  • Assisting members with inquiries regarding their pharmacy benefits and medication-related questions.
  • Upholding efficiency while adhering to stringent deadlines (24-hour response time for urgent cases and 72-hour response time for standard cases).
  • Working remotely from a quiet and private workspace.
  • Committing to an 8.5-hour shift, with flexibility to start as early as 8 AM and conclude as late as 9 PM.

Required Skills

We are seeking candidates who possess the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Solid knowledge of drug names and classifications.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred, though not mandatory.
