Remote Events and Meetings Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Meetings and Events Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bloomington, United States. This pivotal role involves the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse corporate events, meetings, and conferences in various formats, including remote, hybrid, and in-person. The successful candidate will excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of employee and franchisee meetings and events, including training sessions both domestically and internationally.
• Coordinate logistics for corporate team and departmental meetings.
• Manage franchisee conventions, supplier conferences, and other assigned events.
• Collaborate with business partners to ascertain event requirements and secure suitable locations.
• Manage contracts, including negotiations and reviews with the Director of Meetings, Events & Travel and legal teams.
• Organize room layouts, lodging, transportation, catering, and audiovisual needs while ensuring all event materials are prepared.
• Administer the registration process, generate reports, and conduct post-event satisfaction surveys.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency with web-based registration tools (e.g., Cvent, Stova).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to cultivate positive relationships with business partners.
• Proven problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Experience working within a corporate matrix organization is essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Hospitality/Events Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in meetings and events planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for assigned programs, both locally and nationally.

Compensation And Benefits

The national base salary range for this position is \(56,117 - \)65,937. Individual compensation is determined based on job-related skills, work location, and relevant experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, a 401K match, paid time off (inclusive of volunteer time and parental leave), and more.
