The Therapy Team Leader supports daily therapy operations, supervising staff, managing scheduling, and ensuring effective interdepartmental communication.
- Provides 80-90% patient care within a licensed discipline, fostering a positive environment aligned with the hospital's mission.
- Assists in staff development, performance management, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Requires current licensure (PT, OT, or SLP), BLS certification, and clinical experience (minimum 3 years, with at least 2 in clinical roles).
- Utilizes general office equipment and Microsoft Office software.
- Must meet physical requirements including lifting and repositioning patients and equipment.
- Possesses strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills; able to work independently.
- Works in a temperature-controlled environment, with potential exposure to blood/body fluids, and may work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Supports diversity and adheres to professional standards, with responsibilities that may include disaster response duties.
