We are currently searching for a Regional Vice President of Operations to be based in Lewisville, TX.

KEY IMPACT ITEMS:

  • Primary Responsibility is Superior Operational Execution of all hotel level Operational and Sales and Revenue Management Areas.
  • Selection, development and growth of hotel level operations leaders.
  • Maximizing revenue, market share and profit opportunities.
  • Ensure that all hotel management teams obtain “green or better” results on monthly Performance Score Card.
  • To conduct managerial training, reviews, assessments and inspections to ensure they are managing to the company and brand standard expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of accountability within the region.
  • Determining and providing focused support as needed to assets in need based on operational results.
  • Asset preservation through utilizing company and brand systems & processes
  • Nurturing/Creating company culture throughout the region utilizing the HMC Way and Guiding Principles.
  • Managing the relationship between the hotel management team and ownership representatives
  • Training, development and focus of all managers within the assigned region.


KEY METRICS -

Green Balanced Score Card or better

All management jobs filled within 45 days.

Ensuring our feeder positions are occupied with people that can move up and maintaining turnover of less than 15% for our “A” players

No disasters (Flow Through, QA, Guest Satisfaction or Market Share)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Full Service hotel operational performance with demonstrated success in impacting multiple hotels through support in management training, providing high level task force assistance with impact, assuming a leadership role within their operational region to impart knowledge and help raise the performance of the team. Strong relationship skills demonstrated in sales, corporate office, ownership and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Previous positions requiring strategic leadership as well as tactical execution.

  • Extensive hotel operations experience with multi brand exposure, with experience in the following:
  • Sales process / leadership
  • Revenue management
  • Financial oversight
  • Training and development
  • Cluster orientation / operations
  • Multi ownership exposure / responsibility
  • Multi brand exposure
  • Proven ability in performance management
  • Skilled in organization effectiveness


Education - Bachelor’s in Hotel Administration or Business highly preferred
