Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee daily project operations, including quality control, safety, and material management.
    • Conduct daily and weekly reviews of schedules, budgets, and project statuses.
    • Use tools like Procore, Google Sheets, and Sage for operations, documentation, and budget tracking.
    • Ensure adherence to company processes, providing mentorship and accountability to superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Project Management
    • Visit job sites monthly to review work quality, safety, and training compliance.
    • Evaluate and remove underperforming subcontractors or employees.
    • Approve invoices, oversee procurement, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Build relationships with General Contractors (GCs) in the region, with a focus on increasing bid volume and client retention.
    • Conduct client meetings, including lunches and calls, to foster business growth.
    • Pursue emerging market opportunities and secondary cities within the territory.
  • Estimating and Reporting
    • Conduct takeoffs, quantity surveys, and create estimates using proprietary tools.
    • Manage bid volume of $8M per month, ensuring a 15% bid-to-contract ratio.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales, financial, and operations reports.
    • Attend corporate and quarterly executive meetings to present regional updates.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role or industry, with the ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and mentor staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, and proprietary estimating software.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and operational oversight.

Schedule
