Job Description: One Health Regional Director – Women’s Services
Position Overview: The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the operational management of 7-10 healthcare clinics within the designated region, specifically focusing on Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) services. This role works closely with the Chief of Women’s Services, Regional Medical Director and VP of Operations to ensure that clinics achieve operational efficiency, maintain financial health, meet quality metrics, and deliver exceptional patient care. The Regional Director will lead and support clinic managers, resolve conflicts, manage projects, and help implement strategic initiatives for continuous improvement. As a key leader, the Regional Director will champion the One Health pillars and commit to creating the healthcare we ALL deserve.
Essential Functions

Essential Functions
- Leadership & Team Support:
- Provides leadership and support to clinic managers, assisting them in day-to-day operations and addressing challenges related to staffing, patient flow, and resource management.
- Leads efforts in resolving provider and teammate conflicts by facilitating open dialogue, encouraging empathy, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Offers guidance and mentorship to clinic managers on best practices for conflict management, focusing on constructive solutions and positive team dynamics.
- Coaches and develops clinic management teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and improve overall clinic performance.
- Partners with HR to address provider and teammate conflicts, ensuring effective resolution through communication, mediation, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Promotes team collaboration, fostering an environment that encourages open communication, accountability, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Onboards and trains new clinic managers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively lead their teams and meet performance expectations.
- Provides ongoing mentorship and support to new managers, helping them acclimate to the organizational culture and operational processes, while ensuring they have the resources needed for success.
- Encourages a culture of innovation within the clinic teams, leading efforts for continuous process improvement by identifying areas for operational efficiencies, implementing best practices, and driving change to improve patient care, team performance, and overall clinic operations.
- Financial Management & Accountability:
- Project Management & Implementation:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities for designated projects, vendors, and committees to ensure successful outcomes within specified timelines and budgets.
- Establishes clear work plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for each project, ensuring the recruitment or assignment of appropriate team members.
- Coordinates and supports clinic managers and cross-functional teams in the execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Leads the implementation of new projects, policies, and systems to drive continuous improvement in clinic operations and patient care.
- Quality Metrics & Performance Management:
- Drives the implementation and monitoring of key quality metrics, ensuring that clinics adhere to clinical and operational standards, as well as regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with the Regional Medical Director to ensure that quality assurance programs are in place, including the identification of gaps and the development of improvement strategies.
- Collaborates with clinic teams to develop action plans aimed at improving patient satisfaction, provider performance, and operational efficiency.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Prepares and presents regular status reports to the VP of Operations and Regional Medical Director, highlighting key metrics, progress on strategic initiatives, and areas of concern.
- Ensures effective communication between clinics, leadership teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Provides recommendations and insights based on operational data to drive improvements and optimize clinic performance.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensures that all clinics under the regional director's purview comply with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and quality standards.
- Works with clinic managers to identify compliance risks and implements corrective actions to ensure continuous adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Community Engagement & Physician Relations:
- Represent the organization in the community, building relationships with key stakeholders, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in physician recruitment and retention efforts as they relate to women's services.
- Proven experience in a healthcare management role, with a strong background in OB/GYN practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Advanced project management abilities, including planning, resource allocation, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution, with a focus on team dynamics, provider relations, and HR collaboration.
- Deep understanding of healthcare quality metrics and the ability to implement and monitor performance improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of staff and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
