About The Role

As a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist (6 months contract), you will work closely with other Ride Hailing Operations Leaders and team members,, as well as the CEO to support the recruitment and onboarding of our growing and exceptional team You will be integral to building an engaging and safe work environment. You will work closely with our strategic partner and vendors to ensure our teams deliver to the highest standards of safety and procedural excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hiring & Onboarding:
    • Design and lead the recruitment process for all roles within our Ride Hailing organisation and our central team - from candidate sourcing to offer.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent.
    • Proactively reach out into the market to elevate our candidate funnel beyond reactive applications
    • Deeply understand our value proposition and our operations to represent our brand, our strategic partner, and the opportunity to best in class talent
    • Focus on conversion of the talent funnel whilst ensuring that the candidate experience is excellent
    • Oversee the onboarding process, with a particular focus on partner mandated onboarding standards and requirements, all whilst maintaining a great candidate experience
    • Support the identification and development of tools and systems which facilitate timely data capture as well as a frictionless recruitment and onboarding process
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Design and implement recruitment and onboarding policies and procedures tailored to the needs of our operations and the requirements of our strategic partner
    • Ensure all recruitment and people operations activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Ensure all people related activities meet our strategic partner quality and reporting standards and requirement
    • Maintain accurate records and generate reports and analysis on core people data with a view to developing a dynamic and predictive dashboard across a range of people topics.
What You Will Need For This Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or tech sectors.
  • Sector or industry experience in Fleet/Mobility/Logistics/ Engineering/Operations/Operations Management is preferred
  • Strong preference for someone who is experienced with Kaizen framework and processes
  • Familiarity with and strong preference to use AI tools to run operations and solve problems rather than hiring headcount
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous and complex problems into manageable segments and to define creative solutions, securing buy in from key stakeholder
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing

Directly reporting to our People & Operations Specialist, and closely working with our People & Operations Teams.
