Bisnow

Date: 14 hours ago
City: Chicago, IL
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Contract type: Full time
SelectLeaders, a BISNOW company, is the leading job platform and professional development destination for the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. For nearly two decades, we’ve connected premier employers with top talent, building a platform trusted by professionals who control or influence over 90% of the U.S. CRE market.

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Recruiter to join the SelectLeaders team. In this full-cycle recruiting role, you will play a key part in helping us grow our business by identifying top talent, delivering exceptional service to our clients, and managing the recruitment process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, demonstrates strong follow-up and follow-through, and takes pride in providing a white-glove experience for both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate is passionate about connecting clients with top talent and building relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the sales team to strategize on best practices for client engagement, role execution, and overall recruitment process improvement
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, and presenting top-tier candidates across a range of commercial real estate roles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates, strategic insights, and white-glove service throughout the search process
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both clients and candidates, ensuring expectations are aligned and next steps are well defined
  • Prioritize and manage multiple searches at once, balancing competing business needs and adjusting quickly to evolving priorities
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, and other sourcing platforms to identify, track, and engage top talent
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support business development, marketing initiatives, and process optimization
  • Operate effectively in an evolving environment, adapting to changes in processes, tools, and procedures with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Provide consistent follow-up and follow-through to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and clients alike
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in the ATS and internal systems to ensure transparency and workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3–5 years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting role, either within an agency or an in-house talent acquisition team. Must have experience recruiting for roles in commercial real estate or related financial services industries—such as private equity, investment banking, construction management or real estate investment management. Commercial real estate experience is a plus but not required. Must have experience effectively communicating and coordinating with C-suite executives or senior leadership, both internally and externally
  • Proven experience sourcing candidates using a variety of tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding recruiting and placement goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a startup or entrepreneurial setting with evolving processes and shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on follow-up, responsiveness, and relationship-building
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and proactive in identifying and solving problems as they arise
  • Work schedule is a flexible hybrid model. Candidates should be prepared to travel to the office as needed.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive compensation structure!
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance - effective the 1st of the month following your start date
  • Short and Long Term Disability Insurance - this includes maternity and paternity leaves as well.
  • 401K
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Health Savings Account
  • Dependent Care Account
  • Unlimited Vacation Days
  • 7 days paid sick leave
  • 9 paid Holidays
  • Referral Bonus Program

  • You’ll get to work with incredibly smart, passionate, driven, ambitious, kind, caring and mindful people and will rarely experience an overload of policies, bureaucracy or toxicity (the latter, we do not tolerate)

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $70,000-90,000 base plus bonus incentives.
