R&D Inflammation Research - Undergrad Intern
What You Will Do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this program, you will help create new bioassays for drug development, further biological understand of putative targets and define the mechanism of action for state-of-the-art therapeutic inflammation interventions.

R&D Inflammation Research - Undergrad Intern
What You Will Do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this program, you will help create new bioassays for drug development, further biological understand of putative targets and define the mechanism of action for state-of-the-art therapeutic inflammation interventions.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to explore pathways relevant to inflammatory diseases.
- Develop and optimize in vitro and ex vivo assays to assess immune cell function, cytokine signaling, and inflammatory responses.
- Interpret data, draw scientific conclusions, and present findings internally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including translational sciences, clinical, and bioinformatics.
- Maintain accurate experimental records

Amgen Requires That All Individuals Applying For An Undergrad Internship Or a Co-op Assignment At Amgen Must Meet The Following Criteria
- 18 years or older
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
- Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
- Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship with an accredited college or university
- Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
- Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship
- Completed classes in biology and biochemistry
- Wet lab experience
- Experience with large datasets
- Ability to collaborate and troubleshoot to solve problems
