The Job You Will Perform

Champion the quality management system and represent the facility to the corporation, suppliers, and customers in matters related to quality, including the management of customer expectations and satisfaction

  • Act as a representative for the company on quality management
  • Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system (QMS) are established, implemented, and maintained
  • Report on QMS performance and improvement opportunities
  • Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
  • Work with technical experts on material contracts and specifications
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers on new product development
  • Schedule and carry out management review meeting of the QMS
  • Identify new quality methods and continually improve the QMS
  • Coordinate customer quality requirements with leadership and manufacturing
  • Provide quality engineering expertise for process quality planning activities
  • Support quality in customer relationships and vendor transactions
  • Manage internal auditing
  • Maintain metrics for quality objectives and coordinate with QMS Manage quality issues, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Work on projects as assigned
  • Support other Preprint sites as needed

The Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or related discipline
  • 1 year experience in customer relations
  • Direct experience with third party registration organization
  • ASQ certifications for quality audits and management are a plus
  • Ability to multitask and able to work through challenges
  • Ability to translate quality concepts into practices
  • Ability to engage various organization levels to facilitate and lead improvement efforts
  • Good understanding of technical documentation
  • Ability to translate technical information, specifications, and product requirements into facility procedures and work instructions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
