About The Role

REV Robotics is committed to upholding the highest quality standards across all our products and processes. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining robust quality processes, ensuring successful new product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet both our business standards and customer requirements. Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

What You'll Do

Quality System Development & Improvement:

  • Develop inspection plans, measurement methods, and recording forms.
  • Support well-established Quality Assurance systems, methods, and procedures.
  • PPAP Key Quality Element development, i.e., Process Flows, FMEAs, Control Plans, Capability Assessments, Production Monitoring.
  • Improve and create standardized quality processes.
  • Provide leadership in acquiring and implementing improved QA techniques and processes and make key processes visible.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of quality program manuals and related department and divisional procedures.
  • Prepare program quality inspection plans.

Process Control & Analysis:

  • Use statistical methods to control and evaluate process capabilities, where applicable. SPC experience strongly preferred.
  • Conduct analysis and closure on customer returns associated with assigned programs.
  • Generate, review, and process Quality Non-Conformities, conduct containment, obtain disposition, evaluate root causes, and implement corrective action as required.

Compliance & Auditing:

  • Ensure 100% quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
  • Perform internal process surveillances and internal audits.
  • Review contractual requirements in specifications and drawings with specific attention to quality requirements and lead the development of compliance matrices for customer acceptance.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Coordinate quality activities with customers, suppliers, and third-party oversight bodies as necessary.
  • Provide subject matter expertise while interacting with internal and external customers as well as suppliers by meeting regularly, responding to requests, and resolving issues as they may arise.
  • Assist other departments as necessary in establishing standards relative to ensuring product quality.
  • Development of quality assurance data packages for Engineering review.

Oversight & Problem Identification:

  • Serve as the key owner and monitor for processes within the scope of an area of specific responsibility.
  • Identify potential project quality issues.
  • Review, revise, or write inspection procedures.

Qualifications

  • BS Engineering or equivalent
  • Root Cause analysis
  • Programming CMM or Vision System
  • Use of Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools
  • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience working in a relevant field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems
