Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer For John Deere Construction & Forestry Located In Dubuque, IA, You Will Lead The Quality Activities For Skid Steer Loader Product Line, Ensuring Quality Tools And Processes Are Fully Deployed. In Addition, You Will

  • Serve as the quality expert / voice of quality for the Skid Steer Loader product line
  • Drive build in quality focusing on manufacturing process capability
  • Lead project to drive warranty metrics for the product line to achieve Distinctive Product Quality levels
  • Investigate product quality problems, determine root cause, and implement corrective action
  • Integrate with design engineering on quality plans for continuous improvement changes

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of experience with designing, integrating, or assembling components
  • 2 or more years of experience working in or with a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • 1 or more years of experience facilitating and leading teams through complex problems and/or projects
  • Strong communication skills demonstrated by regularly reporting project updates to management

What Makes You Standout

  • 2 or more years experience with current product improvement (CI) process
  • Strong knowledge of assembly process fundamentals and associated control methods
  • 1 or more years of experience of demonstrated deployment of Quality tools such as: 8D problem solving, FMEA, Control Plans, DPAR, DMAIC and root cause analysis

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technology degree, or equivalent related work experience
