About The Position
The Quality Control Analyst role is a part-time remote contract position designed for individuals who are passionate about ensuring product excellence and maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes, findings, and recommendations.
- Assist in the development of quality control procedures and training materials.
- Provide timely reports and presentations on quality metrics and project status to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging quality control technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quality management systems.
- Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
- Experience in statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to the industry.
