The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a strong understanding of website structure, content accuracy, and digital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Website Edit & Update Review
- Review completed website edits (content, design, layout, SEO updates, integrations) prior to delivery.
- Verify that all requested changes were implemented fully, accurately, and according to specifications.
- Compare before/after versions when applicable to validate correctness of work.
- Flag missing components, incorrect formatting, or deviations from scope.
- Test site navigation, links, buttons, forms, menus, and any interactive features.
- Identify and document broken links, missing assets, misaligned elements, and usability issues.
- Check for proper display and consistency across major browsers and devices.
- Confirm that SEO elements (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, alt text) are implemented correctly when applicable.
- Validate that any code, script, or plugin changes work as intended.
- Ensure updated sites meet internal brand guidelines, accessibility considerations, and UX standards.
- Evaluate page load times or visible performance issues.
- Confirm grammar, spelling, and formatting consistency across edited pages.
- Verify that images and media are properly optimized and displaying correctly.
- Clearly document issues, steps to reproduce, and recommended fixes.
- Collaborate with web designers, developers, account managers, and project managers to resolve identified issues.
- Track patterns in errors to identify training or process improvement opportunities.
- Provide final approval or send back items requiring rework.
- Background in website production, digital marketing, or web support.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with QA ticketing systems (Jira, Asana, Trello, Salesforce Cases, etc.).
- Experience performing regression testing after site edits or code updates.
- Accurate, timely QA reviews with minimal client-reported defects.
- Consistently clear documentation of issues and recommended corrections.
- Strong collaboration across production and support teams.
- Improved quality and first-pass completion rates for website edits and releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to reviewing digital work.
- Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress, proprietary platforms, etc.).
- Ability to identify layout inconsistencies, broken elements, and functional defects.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS preferred (not required).
- Experience with cross-browser/device testing tools a plus.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for documenting findings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
