Our client is hiring a Purchasing, Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager which involves managing the purchasing, production schedule and inventory levels within the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production by coordinating raw materials, labor, and equipment to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory costs by forecasting needs and maintaining appropriate stock levels; key responsibilities include creating production plans, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand forecasts, scheduling production runs, and identifying opportunities to improve production processes and inventory management strategies

Duties/Responsibil
- ities:Purchases supplies, raw materials, parts, and freight for the co
- mpany.Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs accord
- ingly.Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials
- used.Negotiates and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery
- times.Reviews purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental pol
- icies.Collaborates with sales, customer service, and logistics departments to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory control depar
- tment.Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of
- sale.Sets authorization limits for purchasing
- staff.Purchases large and complex
- items.Develops and implements policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize wor

Education and Exp

- equired.At least five years of buying or purchasing experience required with supervisory experience pr
eferred.
