Manage and deliver strategic projects on a local level across brands and respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost, and quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver strategic projects on a local level across brands and respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost, and quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements.
- Uphold and enhance the brand of Strategic Projects with stakeholders
- Drive small and medium projects or workstreams of larger initiatives
- Manage stakeholder relationships and secure buy-ins to project deliverables
- Deliver projects with robust project management discipline
- Lead and manage to successfully deliver the assigned cross-functional projects, end-to-end, ideally through applying PMI methodology effectively and ensuring high quality consistency of deliverables.
- Define, align, and communicate project scope while driving creation of detailed project plans.
- Take strong ownership to lead and facilitate the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources.
- Monitor the project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan to implement corrective or preventative actions.
- Coordinate change management for respective projects and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.
- Finalize all activities across the projects to formally close and hand over the project, ensuring project documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately.
- Ensure tracking of project benefits and KPIs through the project lifecycle.
- Think cross-functionally to identify project dependencies and their impact.
- Raise dependency issues with the project sponsor and co-create solutions.
- Identify and communicate risks early to enable mitigation efforts, maintain program goals, timelines, and costs.
- Estimate, align, and proactively track project team resources to deliver and support projects.
- Allocate the work to respective employees considering experience, complexity, workload, and organizational efficiency.
- Manage project budgets with project stakeholders and finance partners.
- Ensure compliance to SCM standards, e.g. PMO, SCM controlling standards.
- Manage conflicts and escalations that arise within projects, identify solutions, and propose these to the project business owner/lead and sponsors. Support the resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Communicate appropriately and effectively to leadership and project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to successfully deliver and embed the project within the organization.
- Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
- Global and local SCM teams
- Sales functions (Wholesale, eCom, Retail, Team Services)
- Marketing (horizontal and vertical BU divisions)
- Corporate functions (e.g. Legal, Tech, Finance & Performance Management)
- External partners
- End-to-end mindset, big picture view of problems on hand
- Proactive, engaging, and open to feedback
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business. Ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, and verbalize ideas effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different cultures
- Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes.
- Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
- Strong team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve goals and objectives
- Proactively initiate and drive discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to collect and consolidate feedback, prepare, and align solutions across workstreams.
- Managing through change – ability to manage through changes and uncertainties
- Discipline in planning time management and organization skills
- Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes.
- Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
- English skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with a variety tools (e.g., Project Planning, Process Mapping, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet)
- Business mindset: solid numerical and analytical skills
- Four-year college or university degree with emphasis in the areas of Business, Economics, Logistics, Planning, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Operations; Other experience or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in mid to large-scale projects or program management (e.g., top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, or supply chain management background.)
- Experience in Change Management and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Ability to occasionally travel as required.
