Location: Camden, NJ

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote Monday & Friday; Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, 9am–5pm)

Role Overview

The Commercialization Project Leader (CPL) will lead the successful commercialization of new products and cost-saving initiatives for existing products, supporting Campbell’s US Retail Strategic Plan. This role manages multiple projects from concept to shelf, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely execution through the stage gate process.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:
• Manage ~12 projects within a brand (e.g., Late July)
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead weekly commercialization meetings
• Drive accountability across diverse functional teams
• Communication & Reporting:
• Provide regular updates on project status and risks
• Escalate issues as needed to ensure project health
• Financial Acumen:
• Apply business and financial insights to guide decisions
• Support resource allocation and prioritization
• Conflict Resolution:
• Navigate conflicting priorities and goals
• Facilitate solutions that align with strategic objectives
  

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Technical, or PM concentration preferred)
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years in project management, product commercialization, or CPG manufacturing/supply chain
• Experience with innovation tools, Stage Gate, and iterative development processes
• Certifications:
• PMP certification preferred
• Skills:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project preferred
• Ability to influence and negotiate within cross-functional teams
• Effective time management across multiple projects
• Strong presentation skills (written and oral)
