Position Summary

The Project Management Office (PMO) is designed to support the delivery and innovation across the global businesses and entities, coordinating efforts and ensuring project management processes are followed and objectives are met. As a team member of the PMO, the Project Manager (PM) provides guidance and coaching to project coordinators and peers throughout the organization.

In this role, the PM manages critical, strategic, and complex type projects, ensuring they align with overarching business objectives. They possess expertise in project lifecycle management methodologies and are proficient in tracking schedules, performance, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and fostering strong business relationships. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication with stakeholders required. This is a full-time position that may be based either in Yuma, AZ or remotely, depending on business needs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching on project management best practices, methodologies, and tools to support business objectives.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, execution, deployment, and closure.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, balancing priorities, resources, and stakeholder expectations to drive business success.
  • Utilize standard project management tools and techniques to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure effective execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, issue logs, and risk management plans.
  • Communicate project status clearly and consistently to stakeholders, including bi-weekly leadership updates.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinating meetings and aligning teams to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve conflicts, and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and share project milestone documents, dashboards, and key performance metrics to track success.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management methodologies and practices within the PMO.
  • Partner with project sponsors to ensure project success and alignment with strategic goals.
  • As a member of the PMO team, identify areas for improvements and bring forward solutions.

Education

  • Background in agriculture or chemical industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or relative Project Management discipline.
  • A professional certification in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with analytical/project management or equivalent

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships across different regions.
  • Strong communication (both written and oral), presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Experience with project analysis, costing, and budgeting
  • Able to interact with all levels of management in a professional and effective manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and adapt to changing situations
  • Able to work on multiple and complex projects with moderate level of supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of business applications, specifically SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Job Expectations / Working Conditions

  • Occasional travel may be required, with some international travel as needed.
