Job Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coding all fuel charges, timesheets, material purchases, and expense reports charged to each project, so a P&L statement can be created for weekly reviews. They will track the dollar amount, profit, and loss for each project. Also, they will organize permits. This position supports the Project Management and Construction teams and works with other personnel in the department.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Interpret data concerning all facets of our business (e.g., Dates, Payments, Invoicing, Resourcing, etc.).
- Create and provide weekly reporting on WIP and AR.
- Customer invoicing and interaction.
- Review/validate vendor’s invoices, add them to PO tracker and update their status accordingly.
- Answer vendor’s payments questions and do necessary research for any concern they might have and escalate if needed.
- Track internal subcontractor invoices and pass-through revenue.
- Analyze results using various statistical techniques.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to validate and prepare client invoices.
- Participate in group meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Gather closeout items such as pre-con notes, redlines, bore logs, ArcGis & updating client dataBase, address client’s comments, and update all files accordingly for close out packages.
- Validate construction documents (borelogs/redlines) before As-builts are requested.
- Work on permit closeouts, coordinate final inspections, provide JHA closeout docs, update closeout tracker accordingly.
Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field of study.
- 1 years of experience in a similar field or in utilies.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook and Excel, with intermediate to advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and create red-lines or as-builts.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills.
- Works well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical.
- Solid ability to provide excellent customer service and establish and maintain credibility and interpersonal relationships with diverse group of individuals (e.g., business leaders, colleagues, staff at all levels).
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar field or in utilites.
