Job Summary
The Programs Manager plays a critical role in advancing fundraising initiatives within a non-profit organization. This position is responsible for managing data, supporting and contributing to program activations, and developing essential resources to strengthen fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate delivers high quality peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives with a strategic mindset and collaborates across teams to deliver results driven impacts.
Core Duties
The Programs Manager plays a critical role in advancing fundraising initiatives within a non-profit organization. This position is responsible for managing data, supporting and contributing to program activations, and developing essential resources to strengthen fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate delivers high quality peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives with a strategic mindset and collaborates across teams to deliver results driven impacts.
Core Duties
- Data Management, stewardship, and program reporting – things such as the weekly stewardship emails for peer-to-peer, expected totals from week/weekend events and following up with results, keeping track of YEE/Goal progress, pulling reports for incentives periods, stakeholder audits, etc.
- Support activations of the Programs annual plans – working in collaboration with program owners and Director, Community Programs to support key activations and goals of the programs as identified.
- Resource / Case Study / Guidebook Development – Ensuring that CPMs & EL manager have the tools and resources they need to bring activations to markets. Working to document best practices and case studies of the programs to expand implementation across the network
- Internal Communication & Knowledge Sharing – Facilitating regular updates, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure program teams stay informed on best practices, trends, and new initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Optimization – Identifying operational gaps, proposing solutions, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of program execution.
- Engagement & Stewardship – Developing engagement strategies to recognize and retain donors and hospital market fundraising, including personalized communication, impact reports, and exclusive donor and market experiences.
- Department Planning & Execution – Coordinating logistics, timelines, and deliverables for department-wide priorities, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Partnership Support – Assisting in managing relationships with key corporate partners, community organizations, and stakeholders to maximize fundraising impact and engagement opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Team Representation – Serving as a key Programs team representative in organization-wide initiatives, working groups, and strategic planning sessions to ensure fundraising programs are integrated into broader efforts. Advocating for Program needs in discussions
- Technology & Systems Coordination – Working with IT and digital teams to improve fundraising platforms, CRM systems, and digital engagement tools that support program success.
