Manage execution of large scale, highly complex enterprise initiatives, serving as a strategic and executional partner to business owners and senior leadership. Drive strategic execution, program management, integration and change management in support of strategic programs across the company. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in defining and tracking project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget and schedule. Identify and manage critical interdependencies, determine areas of risk, and provide the level of executional leadership to successfully deliver projects. Support prioritization of workstreams and track progress against objectives. Provide timely communications to project leadership and key stakeholders on overall status and roadmap for key strategic programs. Support development of project management and change management capability and center of excellence at Ulta Beauty, including contributing and demonstrating best practice approaches, project governance frameworks and processes and toolkits which will be applied throughout the organization. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in project management, change management and project planning and/or post-merger integration, preferably in a strategy consulting company or equivalent position in beauty and/or a retail environment. Experience in strategic / management consulting strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading teams to execute highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale and risk in a retail environment. Demonstrated knowledge of program management, change management and strategic capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and apply strategic frameworks to drive alignment and decision-making. Financial acumen to shape and drive program performance management. Highly collaborative with track record of effective cross-functional leadership and proven ability to influence at all levels. Enterprise thinker with ability to ‘connect the dots.’ Bias for action and execution. Results-oriented. Excellent time management, planning, project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and make ongoing decisions with key stakeholder input. Excellent communication skills, including ability to share ideas and information across diverse audiences to drive to business decisions. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex. High emotional intelligence/IQ and strong relationship management skills. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape, elevate and move planning forward. Highest level of integrity and good judgment. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred. Travel may be required (
The pay range for this position is $102,900.00 - $150,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
