Located in Livonia, Michigan, the 120+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for design, development, manufacturing, assembly and support of landing gear, actuation systems and other aerospace components.
As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs supporting Boeing, LockHeed Martin, Parker Hannifan, and military initiatives such as the B-2 Stealth, F105, and V280.
With a strong focus on latest technology of the manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

Main responsibilities:
- Key customer contact leading all communication between all departments related to the program
- Communicate with customer via conference calls, email and meetings
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Understand customer and industry requirements
- Research and analyze program alternatives and recommend best alternative
- Maintain accurate schedules and monitor progress of each program
- Identify and minimize risk to goals, know when to elicit management control.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Schedule labor and/or machinery required to complete each task
- Formulate and adhere to a production budget
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer requirements and distribute to all participants
- Effectively communicate progress of program to all internal and external participants
- Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization, including upper management
- Motivate team members
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors or Associates Degree, preferably in Business Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of plant level management experience.
- Understanding of general contracts, purchasing principles, and policies.
- Ability to excel in a high visibility position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications including MS Project
- Successful problem solving experience
- Highly motivated – can lead and manage a team.
- Effective program/project management skills
- Ability to apply math skills and critical thinking.
