Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain master project schedules using MS Project to meet contract requirements
- Budget Management: Monitor spending against approved budgets to ensure profit objectives
- Procurement: Approve expenditures, generate purchase requests, and expedite orders
- Quality Control: Review and approve technical documentation, manuals, engineering drawings, and procedures
- Status Reporting: Create weekly project status reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Risk Management: Implement corrective actions and manage changes to project specifications
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities within existing contracts
- Administrative Support: Handle purchase orders, cost reimbursements, and travel documentation
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Monitor daily operations of assigned programs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Analyze project data and provide actionable insights
- Support cost proposal preparation as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Program Management experience leading cross-functional teams
- Master's degree preferred but not required
- MS Project experience preferred
- MS Excel proficiency required (data entry, editing, sorting)
- ERP systems experience (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for cost analysis and budget reporting
- PMP Certification
- EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) knowledge
- Military service or experience
- Manufacturing or defense industry background
- Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance (required)
- Comfortable working with law enforcement, military, and construction agencies
- Comfortable working around firearms and related equipment
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving mindset
