Location
While our US team is remotely distributed, you’ll need to be located in the Northeast to align with our German team’s working hours. Please expect early morning (7:30 / 8am) meetings, to travel at least two times per month to meet in person with customers, and to collaborate with a Germany-based Product Engineering team (English speaking) in addition to the US-based Sales and Customer Success team.
The Role
As our first US-based Product Manager at vialytics, you’ll serve as a critical early member of our team. You’ll work closely with the Product and Engineering teams in Germany as a Product owner to ensure we’re creating elegant solutions for our customers while also working as the primary Product contact for our US team and customers.

The Role
As our first US-based Product Manager at vialytics, you’ll serve as a critical early member of our team. In this role, you will:
- Work as the Product Owner in a Product Team of three developers and one UX Designer
- Take care of strategic product enhancements
- Work closely with US customers and share your insights with the other two product teams
- Identify market trends, assess potential future product feature development and set up action plans (e.g.: prototype testing) to successfully reach these goals
- Guarantee the quality of our system through manual testing before software functionalities release
- Be a point of contact for customers to assess their needs, gather requirements, and write tickets for the development team to cover requirements
Role Requirements:
- You have 2-5 years of experience in Product Management in a Tech SaaS Startup
- Your heart beats for Digital Products and you have an appetite for good design with a hands-on spirit that drives you to explore new ideas for continuous development
- You’re customer obsessed and eager to connect with them on the phone and in person to ensure we’re meeting their needs
- You’re comfortable traveling at least 2x per month to meet our customers in person during sales and customer success meetings
- You have solid UX skills- while we have a full time UX designer, being able to “speak” UX will greatly enhance your success in the role
- Our customers are the mayors of cities and municipalities. You will get to know exciting personalities and work on something that serves the public: better roads

- Preliminary video interview with HR (30 minutes)
- Video interview with our Cofounder and CPO (30 minutes)
- Group conversation with our current product managers and a “live” assignment (2 hours)
- Final Interview with our CRO (30 minutes)
