Description
The Service Business at Fluke account for around $130M global gross revenue. The Product Manager – Services will be responsible for building a winning product strategy to drive long term advantage in Fluke’s core markets and regions as well as identify opportunities for growth via new or existing service offerings. This role will be focused on building and maintaining a service portfolio and roadmap for the Americas region. In addition to defining business models to support successful growth of existing offerings and launching new service offerings, the product manager is also responsible for continuously improving business financial health of the product line and monitoring competitive dynamics. The Product Manager will work closely with service operations, commercial teams, finance, and engineering to continually evaluate and improve the portfolio of service offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
Strong critical thinking, project management, dynamic, organizational, and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is a requirement. The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, analytical, attentive to detail, and has experience with working successfully in matrix organizations. Additionally, strong candidates will have a passion to understand customer’s experience, pain, delight with our products, as well as competitive products.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) (Everett, WA): is 116,725 - 216,775

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage entire product portfolio and life cycle from inception through commercialization to maturity and own key performance metrics including sales, units, margin, and core growth.
- Define and execute a compelling global product/software vision and roadmap to deliver sustained product leadership over the short, medium, and long-term using NPIs (new product introductions), sustainment of existing products, and EOL (end of life).
- Drive the development of new products while working closely with Metrology, Operations, Marketing & Sales, Engineering and other fucntions.
- Gain deep understanding of customer experience, competitive dynamic, market trends and workflows through customer research and market work.
- Identify critical trends and product leadership opportunities in a competitive landscape. (Including pricing, industry structure, positioning and competitive advantage)
- Create and deploy pricing, warranty, product life cycle (EOL) policies.
- Work closely with local teams to define winning commercial strategy based on market dynamics and can guide global commercial teams to turn strategy into successful execution
- Play an active role in supporting business development, partnership, technology, and M&A activities.
- Deliver presentations on performance, strategy, and customer insights to executive leadership.

- Leadership - must be able to lead and influence inter-company and cross-functional teams to meet goals and objective.
- Results Oriented – must be able to prioritize and execute to deliver measurable results.
- Communication - must be able to effectively and concisely communicate complex information across all levels of the organization and across functional boundaries.
- Customer obsessed – Experience researching and learning about customers experience via multiple methods (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc)
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience required
- 5+ Years experience in a Product Management role
- Knowledge and experience in industrial service offerings a plus
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management a plus
