Job Overview:
As the Product Manager for our new FSA and HRA platform, you will be at the forefront of developing a cutting-edge solution from scratch. You will own the entire product lifecycle—from defining the product vision to driving its development and ensuring a smooth market introduction. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, legal, and compliance, to build a product that addresses user needs and is compliant with the latest regulations governing FSAs and HRAs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define the vision and strategy for the FSA and HRA product within the broader platform, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Leverage you extensive knowledge of market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings to create a differentiated, user-centric product.
- Own the product roadmap, setting clear priorities based on business goals, regulatory requirements, and user needs.
- New Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end development of the FSA and HRA product, from concept and prototyping to MVP and full-scale launch.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to define features, create user stories, and ensure the platform’s functionality is intuitive, seamless, and scalable.
- Translate complex regulatory and financial requirements into clear product specifications and user-friendly features.
- Customer-Centric Focus:
- Conduct user research and engage directly with employers, employees, and plan administrators to understand their challenges, needs, and expectations for FSAs and HRAs.
- Develop and maintain customer personas, journey maps, and other tools to guide product development and decision-making.
- Gather continuous feedback from users and stakeholders to refine the product, ensuring it meets both functional and emotional needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with engineering, UX/UI design, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that the FSA and HRA product is developed on time, on budget, and in full regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with marketing and customer success teams to define the go-to-market strategy, create effective launch campaigns, and ensure strong post-launch support.
- Foster strong internal and external partnerships to ensure alignment on product features, timelines, and customer expectations.
- Compliance & Regulatory Management:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IRS guidelines, healthcare regulations, and FSA/HRA compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of substantiation rules and ability to bring innovative new approaches to solve this problem.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure the product is fully compliant with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Implement privacy and data security measures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and IRS regulations.
- Analytics & Iteration:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, such as user adoption, transaction volume, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback post-launch to inform iterative improvements and feature updates.
- Prioritize future enhancements based on data, market changes, and evolving customer needs
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field.
- 5 + years of experience in product management, technology, healthcare, or a related area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for technology and innovation, particularly in the healthcare sector.
