We are seeking a Product Manager (Clinical Workflow) who will manage the Capsa Healthcare product lifecycle from development sprints and backlog grooming through the beta and launch phases. You will support the Strategic Product Manager by assisting to define the product roadmap, creating requirement documents and assessing technical risks.

This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and a candidate from Portland, Oregon is preferred.

Position Location: Portland, Oregon

As the Product Manager your contributions to the team will include:

  • Serves as a Technical Product Specialist on our POC platforms within the Clinical Workflow Business Unit (N-Sight Software, CareLink, Trio, Future Trio Product, M38e).
  • Manages sprints, backlog, tickets (for N-Sight or any other product lines assigned).
  • Supports Strategic Product Manager (SPM) in maintaining product roadmap, reviewing needed capabilities and outlining new functionality required.
  • Supports SPM in creating product requirements document (PRD) for new projects assigned to include all high-level system, hardware, and software requirements.
  • Defines success criteria for testing and product acceptance of product lines assigned.
  • Assesses and addresses technical risks of product lines assigned.
  • Reviews product documentation for product accuracy before release or update.
  • Provides training to Service for product operation, use and features to a level short of technical troubleshooting, debug process, repair etc.
  • Manages product through beta and launch – stays with the product until it is fully launched, all bugs are resolved, and until the development project is closed.
  • Leads, as requested, PMO/ENG/DEV project calls for product lines under purview.
  • Provides internal and customer training from pilot release through successful production launch.
  • Supports the SPM in providing in-depth N-Sight training and demos as required.
  • Supports the SPM in developing business cases for future products as required

What We Ask Of You

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3−5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare technology or software development environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the healthcare IT, medical device, or clinical software industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept and development to launch and post-launch support.
