Purpose:
Are you passionate about launching new and innovative products to meet unmet consumer needs, while leading small teams of highly skilled engineers? Delta Faucet Company has an opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer(Product Engineer) to join our staff. As part of the New Product Development and Integration team, you will be responsible for leading large projects with full autonomy while coordinating your team to integrate new products into production. You will partner with highly motivated multi-functional teammates to deliver exciting product launches. This role reports directly to the NPD Engineering Manager.

As part of the New Product Development and Integration team, you will be responsible for leading large projects with full autonomy while coordinating your team to integrate new products into production. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design coordination & control, development, and integration of new products that meet consumer needs
- Execute new product by leading components and modules through design, first article, engineering builds, pilot runs, and PPAP
- Manage product and system requirements, specifications and flow down to define requirements for the modules or components
- Lead technical team resources, design requirements development, and design risk assessment throughout project execution using DFC design standards/specs (DS), APQP methodologies, and NPD launch stage gate processes
- Establish and validate system level product requirements using DVP+R, simulation, and prototyping techniques
- Lead technical issue resolution teams, identifying and implementing root cause outside of NPD processes
- Design, build, and execute test plans, clearly presenting results and impact of technical issues to a diverse group.
- Scope, handle and approve technical tradeoffs to deliver requirements for production integration from concept to launch
- Support Product Marketing, Architecture, Compliance, & Subsystem teams during platform prioritization, architecture, and technology roadmap development
- Travel up to 10% within the United States & Internationally
- Possess a BS in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology field from an accredited four-year college or university
- 5+, years of product design and integration leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in a systems engineering practitioner role with knowledge of systems engineering tools, techniques, and standard methodologies
- Outstanding soft skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, able to collaborate, interact, and influence business and technical partners and leaders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills along with the ability to simplify complex problems
- Experience with engineering modeling software CAD software (preferably Creo) and FEA
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes, including injection molding, die casting, stamping, finishing and assembly
- Ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments
- Experience with design for manufacturability, cost estimation, GD&T, Systems DFMEA, PPAP and design verification and validation
