This role contributes to the success of REI by supporting Procure to Pay (P2P) operations through daily use of REI’s procurement systems. The Procurement Analyst I role focuses on providing excellent customer service to internal and external partners, facilitating smooth procurement transactions, and ensuring the efficiency of P2P processes. The role will also support and address queries from the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) unit.

Pay Range
$57,300.00 - $71,000 per year

This role contributes to the success of REI by supporting Procure to Pay (P2P) operations through daily use of REI’s procurement systems. The Procurement Analyst I role focuses on providing excellent customer service to internal and external partners, facilitating smooth procurement transactions, and ensuring the efficiency of P2P processes. The role will also support and address queries from the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) unit.
Responsibilities And Qualifications
- Daily Support: Provide day-to-day support for the Ariba procurement system to end users.
- Purchase Requisition Review: Review and approve purchase requisitions to ensure compliance before releasing purchase orders to suppliers.
- Order Monitoring: Track purchase orders, manage rejected POs, and resolve related ordering issues.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to provide information on order follow-up, track deliveries, and facilitate returns.
- Issue Resolution: Provide troubleshooting support by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Invoice Reconciliation: Assist in resolving invoice reconciliation exceptions to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Knowledge Enhancement: Promote understanding of the procure-to-pay system and best practices among users.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system utilization and efficiency.
- BPO Support: Serve as a point of contact for the BPO unit, addressing their inquiries and providing necessary support
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 1+ year experience with REI or a similar environment in a Procurement or Procurement adjacent role.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, or procure-to-pay operations.
- Basic skills in Ariba or similar procurement systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with various stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to business partners, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.
- Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions to support the direction taken by others at REI.
