Process Technology Engineer - Position Overview
Vitro Architectural Glass is looking for a process/project engineer for a corporate engineering position. This position is part of the MSVD Process Technology Group. This group provides support to the plant based MSVD operations by providing common, structured, data driven solutions with a focus on operational and process consistency. To further the groups mission is to work on longer term projects that cross operational and functional boundaries. This position will be located at the Wichita Falls location, but will require travel to corporate headquarters, plants, and vendors as necessary. The position will report to the Manager MSVD Process Technology.
Qualifications
This is a multi-disciplinary technical position with a wide focus. Work will include but not be restricted to the following areas.
Depending on performance and skills, the incumbent could progress to positions within the production or corporate engineering groups.

Qualifications
- BS Engineering (preferred) or Physical Science degree
- 1+ years related production/process experience OR some educational experience combined with at least 2 years of production/process experience with vacuum systems
- Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering would be an asset but not required
- Industrial MSVD/PVD vacuum coating experience would be an asset but not required - Open to all levels of experience
- Industrial PLC programming would be an asset but not required
This is a multi-disciplinary technical position with a wide focus. Work will include but not be restricted to the following areas.
- Process analysis, improvement and documentation
- Development of standard work practices and instructions
- Interplant process and technology transfer
- Equipment and process development
- Process and production data analysis
- Production and process troubleshooting
Depending on performance and skills, the incumbent could progress to positions within the production or corporate engineering groups.
