Relocation Assistance available up to $15,000
Pay range: $104,000/year to $157,060.80/year
The Practice Manager - RN is accountable for the direct coordination and supervision of clinic operations. Manages all nursing staff, front office staff, health plan coordinator and medical assistants to ensure that adequate levels of staffing are achieved to handle the work load. Serves as a role model and resource for patient care. Provides leadership and promotes team-building among staff. Facilitates communication between staff, providers, management and all other customers. Is responsible for effective implementation of policies, procedures and standards. Supports and models Standards for Success model. Acts as liaison with the Central Ambulatory Registration and Scheduling to communicate updates to the scheduling matrix and collaboratively work on improving scheduling processes for patients.

This will give the Manager an opportunity to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the workflow needs of the clinic. In addition, this position will work closely with the leadership within the clinical enterprise to ensure standardized work processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performed majority of the time:
- Completes daily staffing assignments.
- Monitors utilization, maintenance, and charging of equipment and supplies.
- Plans and participates in nursing in-services, conferences, and designated meetings.
- Acts as a resource person, advising or assisting Outpatient Services personnel as necessary in planning patient care.
- Participates in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and orientation of staff.
- Oversees the proctoring and onboarding of new clinic staff.
- Counsels employees, coordinates disciplinary action.
- Creates and implements work processes to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic
- Promotes accident prevention and reports potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.
- Performs employee annual and probationary performance reviews.
- Acts as back up to the clinic RN when needed.
- Annual surveys:
- Environmental surveys
- Pharmaceutical surveys
- Space surveys
- Decision making impacts the clinic operations.
- Responsible for department budget performance and working to ensure neutral budget.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Required
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing.
Experience:
Required
- At least one (1) year of experience in a clinic setting that covers the area under the scope for this role (inpatient or outpatient).
- At least one (1) year of lead RN experience (inpatient or outpatient).
- At least (4) years of Healthcare experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on the area under the scope for this role.
- At least 2 years of prior management experience.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
- Current RN licensure for Oregon.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.

- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct delivery of patient care.
- Performs efficiently in emergency patient situations following established policies and procedures.
- Investigates ways to improve customer service utilizing feedback from customers (i.e. patients, family, co-workers, other departments, etc.).
- Communicates daily problems, unusual occurrences, suggestions, etc., in a timely manner.
- Gives regular, consistent and constructive performance feedback to employees.
- Ability to work with the Director and the RN leadership.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
