Primary Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about Power and looking for an internship opportunity with a nationally ranked company? HDR's Bismarck, ND or Rapid City, SD team of Power Delivery professionals are looking for an intern to work full-time during the summer of 2026.
The successful candidate will assist Power Delivery team members with providing engineering services for large- and small-scale projects for a variety of clients. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a self-directed individual who wants to learn and take on new challenges.
Intern candidates must be a current student of an accredited engineering program. Interns will perform tasks with varying level of complexity, what are assigned by a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Tasks include assisting in preparing design packages, performing simple calculating, attending internal meetings, participating in field assignments and being able to follow direction. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills to real projects and gain real-world experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
