About The Role

The Plant Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position is responsible for implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste, ultimately driving cost savings and improving overall productivity. The Plant Manager will lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will involve strategic planning and resource allocation to meet the demands of the laundry services industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning plant operations with organizational objectives, ensuring that we deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in plant management or a similar role within the manufacturing/laundry industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the health care services industry.
  • Familiarity with injection molding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Implement and monitor lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff to ensure a high-performing team that meets production targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
