Job Summary

We are seeking a bilingual, dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients on exercises and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  
  

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or physical therapy preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology.
