This Pharmacist role involves rotating staffing across multiple units including medical/surgical, progressive care, oncology, and pharmacy.
Job Summary/Purpose
Performs medication preparation and dispensing, assesses patient clinical status, provides drug information to the medical team, and educates patients.
Department Description
The pharmacy team consists of medication experts who optimize patient drug therapy.
Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist License required; hospital experience preferred; pre-employment drug screening mandatory; ACLS/PALS if participating in code response.
Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, computer literacy, social perceptiveness, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and physical ability to perform lifting, walking, and other physical tasks.
Physical Demands: Includes walking, lifting, carrying, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, standing, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, and manual dexterity, varying in frequency from occasional to continual.
