Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Perfusionist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this crucial role, you will provide clinical perfusion services that support or treat patients’ cardiopulmonary and circulatory systems. You will operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during procedures where support or replacement of these vital functions is required. You will also monitor and manage necessary physiological variables to ensure optimal patient care.

You will also monitor and manage necessary physiological variables to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical perfusion services during surgical and medical situations.
- Operate and maintain extracorporeal circulation equipment.
- Monitor physiological functions and ensure proper management of variables during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to support high-quality patient care during open heart surgeries.
- Troubleshoot and maintain a variety of cardiovascular perfusion, life support, and blood salvage equipment.
- Certification in Cardiovascular Perfusion (CCP) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced life support certifications may be required based on unit/department specialty.
- Completion of an accredited perfusion training program; must maintain cardiovascular perfusion certification or be eligible for the examination process.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, mechanical/electronic equipment, and innovations in open heart surgery.
- Proven experience in surgical perfusion procedures and open heart surgery.
- Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized medical equipment.
