Bank Secrecy Act Specialist
Barkley Financial Center – Laurel Building| Hybrid Work from Home (3 days per week in office)

As a BSA Specialist, you will be responsible for the coordination and documentation for the BSA and anti-money laundering (AML) programs within the Fraud Investigations Department. You will research, analyze, report, document and make recommendations to support BSA/AML compliance efforts. You may act as a project manager for compliance projects as needed.
Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include
- Coordination and documentation of BSA/AML processing for the Fraud Investigations Department.
- Supporting bank compliance efforts by researching, analyzing and providing input for compliance programs.
- Acting as a resource for questions from staff regarding BSA
- Working with auditors during BSA audits and examinations
- Acting as project manager for compliance projects as assigned
- Providing general administrative support for Fraud Investigations Department
What You Bring to the Team:
- You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- You may have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of general banking experience.
- You are proficient in Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to read and understand regulatory and legal documents.
- Ability to convey regulatory information in an understandable manner to others
- You preferably have report writing experience.
- You work with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
- You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
- You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
- You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
- You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.

Salary Description
$23.43 - $35.15 per hour
