Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of People Experience and part of a U.S. HR team of 35 individuals, the People Operations Manager is directly responsible for the HR compliance, reporting and analytics, policy development and implementation, compensation and benefits management for the US offices.

This hands-on role requires the ability to focus on the employee experience, strategic alignment and operational efficiency in managing people processes. The People Operations Manager will be responsible for building and leveraging relationships, balancing strategy and operations, ensuring HR practices align with company goals, values and culture and other HR duties while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Design and implement scalable people-focused processes, policies and tools
  • Partner with leadership teams to align people strategies with organizational goals
  • Partner with leadership team in managing compensation, benefits, and employee rewards programs
  • Ensuring compliance with annual compliance reports, employment laws and regulations
  • Overseeing and ongoing management of US Compliance training
  • Analyzing HR metrics against team KPIs and optimize HR systems and workflows for efficiency and innovation
  • Leading initiatives, project management and coordinating special projects related to HR
  • Vendor management to support key business processes and audit reconciliations (ADP/benefit carriers/Workday/etc)
  • Supporting administration of and data analytics via Workday and other HR-related systems

Key Qualifications For This Role Typically Include

  • 7+ years of experience in HR or People Operations roles, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HR technologies (HRIS, ATS, etc.) and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (SPHR or other HR certification preferred)

  • In California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York the base salary is between $90,000 - $130,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus, profit sharing and other benefits.
