As Revecore’s Payroll Specialist, You Will
Be responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and reconciliation of payroll taxes.

As Revecore’s Payroll Specialist, You Will
Be responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and reconciliation of payroll taxes.
The Role
- Accurately calculate and process payroll for employees in multiple states, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal tax laws and regulations, including withholding, reporting, and filing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data, paychecks, and tax forms.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other payroll-related issues.
- Reconcile payroll transactions with general ledger and other financial records.
- Prepare and submit various payroll reports, including quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Maintain and update the payroll system, including employee data, tax codes, and deductions.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Provide documentation and assistance during payroll audits
- Prepare and submit 401k and HSA contributions.
- Perform other accounting related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- 3 years prior experience with payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll
- Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency with payroll software
- Ability to meet deadlines

- A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.
- A secure home internet connection with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads is required.
- The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.
