Lynn Community Health Center is looking for a Patient Services Process Coordinator!
The Patient Services Process Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness of Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) at our community health center. This position is responsible for onboarding new PSRs, conducting ongoing training, and developing best practices for registration workflows and performance standards across the organization. While the trainer does not directly supervise PSRs, they will monitor performance, provide coaching, and collaborate with the operations to ensure high-quality patient service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Patient Services Process Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness of Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) at our community health center. This position is responsible for onboarding new PSRs, conducting ongoing training, and developing best practices for registration workflows and performance standards across the organization. While the trainer does not directly supervise PSRs, they will monitor performance, provide coaching, and collaborate with the operations to ensure high-quality patient service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate comprehensive training programs for new PSRs, covering registration processes, customer service standards, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and update training materials and resources to reflect current practices and organizational goals.
- Regularly assess PSR performance through reporting, observation and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted coaching.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish and refine registration workflows, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Prepare regular reports for the Operations Managers and Operations Directors on training outcomes and areas for development.
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in registration processes and healthcare operations.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of patient registration processes and healthcare systems.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Passionate about the community health center movement, project management, learning, collaborating, and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a training role, preferably in health care or customer service settings.
- Certification in training.
- Proven experience in developing standards.
- Previous experience in performance coaching or mentoring roles.
