Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student - Administrative Assistant for Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will:
- Order and manage office and facility supplies.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, training sessions, and facility tours.
- Coordinate calendars for plant leadership and support staff.
- Track and report KPIs as directed by management.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support internal communications and updates.
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities and events

What Skills You Need
- Pursuing a bachelors degree
- Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
- Ability to commute to Waterloo, IA on a daily basis year round
- Ability to input and update data in spreadsheets and databases with precision using Microsoft products.

- Proficiency in drafting emails, broadcasting communication and reports.
- Clear and professional communication style.
- Time Management
- Meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to learn and navigate internal systems and applications.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with full-time staff and other students
- Students must maintain a minimum GPA (2.8 for undergraduates, 3.0 for graduate/accounting students)
