Part-Time Remote Office Assistant – Workers' Compensation Law Firm
Location: Remote
Schedule: 24 hours per week, Tuesday-Thursday, 8-5pm (Pacific time) with 1 hour unpaid lunch
Pay: $21–$26 per hour (based on experience)
We are a Sacramento-based workers' compensation law firm seeking a part-time Office Assistant to support our legal team. Top candidates will have at least minimal workers' compensation experience, though we are willing to train. A civil secretarial background is a plus.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be devoted to the role, which could turn into a full time position in the future. High energy to entertain client calls, focus to complete tasks given and attention to detail are vital skills for this position.

- Answering phones and taking messages;
- Handling court filings and sending proofs of service;
- Maintaining client files / organizing claims files;
- Performing general administrative tasks as needed, to be discussed during interview and probationary period.
- Prior experience in workers' compensation (preferred but not required);
- Civil secretarial experience (a plus);
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Reliable internet connection for remote work;
