Part-Time Nurse – Caregiver Mentor

We’re seeking a compassionate, organized, and people-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Caregiver Mentor. This non-clinical, part-time role supports our home care team by conducting client assessments, training caregivers, and ensuring quality care for seniors in the community.

What You’ll Do:

• Available to work in the office and be available to be out in the field. Conduct in-home, non-medical client assessments and update care plans
• Train caregivers on safe techniques, including transfers, gait belt use, and Hoyer lift operation.
• Perform periodic quality assurance visits and caregiver skills assessments
• Assign additional training's to caregivers as needed
• Enter/saving documentation into database and tracking all training results.
• Serve as a trusted resource for non-clinical client care concerns
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, training sessions, and evaluations
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license in Florida
• CPR Card
• Drivers License; Car, Car insurance
• This position requires Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Learn more: https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
• Strong communication, teaching, and mentoring skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with technology
• Passion for making a difference and supporting caregivers in their roles
• Willingness to travel locally for client visits (mileage reimbursement provided)
