Newly Licensed rate – Adjusted for experience. Based on a 50-hour work week.

Position Overview:

As a licensed Paramedic with Elite Ambulance, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier patient care in the Orland Park and South Suburbs of Chicago. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Emergency and Non-Emergency Calls: Provide prompt, high-quality care.
  • Perform Patient Assessments & Advanced Care: Act decisively under pressure.
  • Safely Operate Ambulance Vehicles: Ensure timely and secure transport of patients.
  • Accurate Patient Care Reports: Document incidents clearly and thoroughly.
  • Equipment & Supply Maintenance: Keep ambulances stocked and ready.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Facilities: Coordinate seamless patient handoffs.
  • Ongoing Training: Stay updated with the latest EMS practices.
  • Mentor New Team Members: Share your expertise and guide newcomers.

Requirements For Paramedic:

  • Current Paramedic license.
  • ACLS & PALS certifications.
  • 1+ year EMS experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Emergency vehicle operations certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 125+ lbs. with assistance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient care excellence.

  • Ability to perform all essential Paramedic functions.
  • Lift, carry, and move patients and equipment.
  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain valid immunizations.
  • Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
