We are seeking a proactive and highly organized paralegal to assist with contracts, registrations and licensing, state and federal regulations, corporate governance, and employment law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal terminology, contract law, and employment regulations, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and edit contracts between the company and clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Assist in drafting, revising, and negotiating contract terms as needed, ensuring all agreements align with company goals and legal requirements.
- Conduct in-depth research on state-specific regulations, laws, and legal precedents relevant to the company's operations.
- Provide expert advice on state employment laws, ensuring the company’s policies and practices are in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to employment laws and regulations, and provide recommendations to senior management on necessary policy updates.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee handbooks, contracts, and workplace policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that contracts and employment policies are properly executed and followed.
- Provide support for internal investigations, registrations and licensing, and compliance audits as needed.
- Maintain and organize legal documents and records related to contracts and employment matters.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies, business administration, or a related field.
- Paralegal certification preferred (e.g., NALA, NFPA).
- Proven experience 2 years as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar role with a focus on contract review and corporate or employment law.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with contract review and negotiation.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex legal concepts to non-legal team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
