Unit: CSEA Current Vacancies: 4 Classification Hours/Months: 7 hours day (10 Mos. - 182 Days) CSEA Salary Range 126: Step A $27.52, Step B $28.91, Step C $30.37, Step D $31.91, Step D $31.91, Step E $33.53, Step F $35.23 APPLICATION DEADLINE - UNTIL FILLED - Applications will be reviewed weekly. Promotional/Open * The promotional group as well as the public may apply. The promotional side of the eligibility list shall take precedence when certifying eligibles. Application, answers to supplemental questions and resume are required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school or equivalent; experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Experience working with persons with severe behavior problems preferred. Licenses and other requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire. Registered Behavior Technician certificate preferred. EVERY STUDENT SUCCEEDS ACT (ESSA) FEDERAL REQUIREMENT: Degree or completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university or district assessment/county certificate showing compliance with ESSA are required. PROOF IS REQUIRED.
SELECTION & EXAMINATIONS: The selection process will consist of a competitive application screening for completeness, qualifications, and experience. Application evaluation (weighted 10%) and an oral interview exam (weighted 90%) will be conducted. A passing score must be achieved on each portion to be placed on the eligibility list. Final interviews for specific vacancies will be scheduled from the approved eligibility list. Required along with your application and responses to supplemental questions:
