Job Summary

The Packaging Quality Coordinator will serve as a liaison between Packaging, Business Development, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Quality Assurance Departments. This position coordinates operations for incoming materials through production and finished goods while maintaining City Brewery Quality Assurance standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

• Provide on-the-floor manufacturing support to Operations and Quality teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Serves as a QA subject matter expert for established quality standards and procedures.
• Point of contact for City Brewery Operations, vendors and customers during material qualifications and non-conforming material situations.
• Manage QIT (Quality Incident Tracking) process for non-conforming materials and production issues, including tracking/disposition of hold materials, follow up with customers/vendors and ensuring that all data and dispositions are handled properly.
• Assist QA with finished goods hold and non-conformance situations. Coordinate and track hold inspections and reworks with Operations to ensure projects are completed and meet Quality standards.
• Determination of investigation strategies as needed with internal and external resources along with corrective action plans or root cause analyses.
• Assist Warehouses with incoming material and quality issues.
• Special projects as assigned to support related business needs.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in related discipline and experience in packaging quality.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s, Federal and State regulations concerning sanitary/food manufacturing operations.
• Effective skills in communication, planning, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and new software applications as needed.
• Strong leadership and team skills.
