Operations Financial Analyst

Crown is seeking to hire a Operations Financial Analyst to support the Johnson City Production Facility based in Johnson City, TN

As an Analyst you will be responsible for assisting in operational rate development, cost analysis, model development, and month-end reporting at the facility. This role's primary focus is to work with Operations as the accounting/finance leader for the facility to support business decisions as well as drive month end close. This position will also be involved in evaluating process improvements along with new manufacturing opportunities.

A successful Financial Analyst will quickly grasp Crown’s business culture, be able to work both independently and in a team setting, and possess an eager attitude to dive-in.

Responsibilities

• Creates, adjusts, and manages Financial Models to aid business strategy decisions.
• Clearly communicates analytical model reports to relevant stakeholders which drive positive change within Operations.
• Compiles and analyzes Operational / Financial data including but not limited to Operations variance analysis, pertinent Operational KPI’s, and Operational -Financial forecasts.
• Identifies and proposes potential improvement opportunities across business organizations.
• Assists in the annual planning process for variable and fixed costs as well as the department expense budgets.
• Assists with month-end closing activities.
• Utilizes the current ERP system and Business Intelligence tools to support forecast updates, analytical review of actual results, and annual budgeting process.
• Maintains an organized work environment, understands the importance of time management, and communicates in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Recognizes the importance of being a team player along with a proactive attitude in a continuously changing environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Training:
• 0 - 4 years of financial/data analysis experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially significant experience with Pivot Tables and other key Excel functions
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
