McShane Construction is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the operations of our team in Auburn, AL. This person utilize all of the companies systems an interact daily with our teams to help push projects forward.

McShane Construction is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the operations of our team in Auburn, AL. This person utilize all of the companies systems an interact daily with our teams to help push projects forward.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creation of master documents as it relates to all areas of a construction project (subcontracts, billing, online systems, etc)
- Setup and review of subcontractor contracts
- Initial setup of master owner billings and OCO’s
- New/Terminated employee procedures
- Records retention
- Manage office/field clothing and gear orders
- Assist with Monthly Pay Application process. Gather information for payment application. Prepare the application for payment, contact subcontractors regarding invoices, and verify billing vs. actual work complete and materials stored.
- Work with Subcontractors to assist them with Textura and submitting their monthly payment applications as it relates to their sworn statement
- Resource for employees on company best practices, software and processes (example; CMiC, Textura, Assurance, contracts, etc).
- On-board and train new employees on project management software and procedures.
- Work with various corporate service departments on special projects such as event planning, employee relations, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage and maintain office equipment
- Provide support to executives when needed
- Cross train with project administrator to provide backup processing subcontracts and insurance
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or combination of education and experience
- 2+ years related construction or administration experience preferred
- Initiative and a proactive approach to work to support project teams at the highest level possible.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work productively with others.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce work that is accurate, complete, and error-free is required.
- Other success factors include reliability, positive attitude, professionalism, and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to use or learn project management software. CMiC and Textura experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of computers and word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software.
