Job Summary

The Onboarding Specialist serves as the main liaison, offering essential assistance to candidates and hiring managers, while ensuring premier onboarding experience for newly recruited employees.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions to provide an overview of the company, its culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with Human Resource Business Partners and hire managers to manage requisitions, create job postings and track candidates.
  • Provide candidate support throughout the pre-employment process, including answering inquiries and assisting with paperwork.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to coordinate onboarding schedules and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Assist with occasional travel to various sites for new store openings, acquisitions, and business hiring needs.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects related to onboarding and employee experience.
  • Ensures compliance with all processes and maintains a high level of confidentiality.

Job Environment

This role is a full-time onsite position that encompasses a combination of planned activities and unforeseen requirements that emerge during the onboarding of new employees. The responsibilities include a significant number of administrative duties, such as the preparation of onboarding materials and the management of employee records, in addition to engaging tasks like leading orientation sessions and addressing inquiries. It is essential to possess the ability to adapt and manage unexpected challenges, as well as to maintain a friendly and inviting attitude, even during particularly hectic periods.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of digital proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site requirements.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred to support diverse employee base.

Compensation

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications. For the purpose of this role, the minimum salary opportunity is:

PAY $65,000 / year.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
